I attended Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, where I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1985. I then continued my studies, at Valparaiso University School of Law, where I earned my Juris Doctor Degree and went on to obtain my Bar Admission for Indiana State and Federal Courts in 1989. I currently belong to the Lake County Bar Association, the Criminal Defense Section of the Bar Association, I am the former president of the Women Lawyers Association, and I am a member of the Indiana State Bar Association.
